If the Health Insurance Fund assumes the obligation to pay for the healthcare service marked with code 7008 (Digital dermatoscopy), then the procedure is free if a dermatovenerologist or family doctor has referred a patient who has at least one additional high-risk criterion for melanoma:

1. More than 50 pigmented nevi
   of which several are clinically atypical and/or previously removed nevi from the patient have been clearly histologically dysplastic (so-called dysplastic nevus syndrome).
2. Melanoma in history
   or in the family history of a first or second-degree relative.
3. Congenital pigmented nevus
   with an expected diameter of 20 cm or more in adulthood.
4. A single pigmented lesion with little or minimal clinical or dermatoscopic atypia,
   with no dermatoscopic criteria for melanoma.
