I, Izhovskyy Oleksiy, graduated in 2002 from the Uzhgorod National Institute of Medicine, Ukraine.
2004. In 2007, I completed an internship in surgery.
2006. In 2007, I graduated from the clinical ordinariate of surgery O. O. O. Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology ( Ukraine ).
2009. In 2007, I completed my postgraduate studies with a PhD thesis on “Surgery of non-parasitic liver cysts”.
Since 2010, I have been working at the Department of Paediatric Oncology of the National Cancer Institute (Ukraine).
Since 2011 I worked as a research fellow and since 2017 – as a senior research fellow in the Department of Paediatric Oncology.
I completed my specialisation in paediatric oncology in 2011 and paediatric surgery in 2014.
08.2019 – I moved to Estonia with my family.
03.08.2020 – 31.11.2020 – work placement at PERH.
01.12.2020 – I passed the general practitioner’s qualifying exam in the field of medical sciences at the University of Tartu.
25.12.2020 – 07.08.2021 I worked in the EMO of Ida-Viru Central Hospital.
31.09.2025 I completed my specialisation in family medicine and became a certified family doctor (family medicine residency from 01.09.2021 – 31.09.2025).
